A student and a recent graduate, both bored. A challenge. A passion project. A problem worth solving.
We built vAIced to learn, to experiment, and to tackle something that hasn't been solved yet: character detection and unique, consistent voicing across entire novels. Every character deserves a distinct voice that stays true from first page to last.
Traditional audiobooks are expensive and slow. AI narration has potential, but existing solutions fall short. We're exploring what's possible when you combine voice synthesis with smart character tracking. Learning as we build.
This is a passion project, not a polished product. An experiment in progress.
